Outlook for the next day
Pakistan’s Met Office, the national weather service, says dry weather will dominate most regions for roughly the coming day. Plains and lowlands should see little or no rain, while hill belts in the far north stay cooler under broken cloud.
Capital residents can expect another rain-free stretch, with a distinct chill at dawn and after dusk. Elsewhere on the plains, the same pattern of clear or hazy skies is the baseline, aside from the local exceptions below.
Where brief rain or snow is possible
Higher ground in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan may pick up light showers, and mountain slopes could see a dusting of snow. Places named for this chance include Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan and Kurram. Overnight, Dera Ismail Khan and Lakki Marwat also have a small chance of light rain.
Further west, northern Balochistan remains chilly. Quetta, Chaman, Pishin and Zhob are the centres where brief rain cannot be ruled out. Travellers on hill roads should allow extra time if visibility drops.
Fog belt, hill stations and the south
At daybreak, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Gujranwala and Sialkot are tipped for fog or smog, which can slow traffic until the sun lifts the haze. Murree and the Galyat stay under partial cloud, with cold mornings and evenings typical for early November.
Sindh is largely without rain. Districts toward the south should feel hot in daylight hours. In Karachi, heat is still the main story today; officials say westerly winds should bring relief after 5 November, improving comfort compared with the current spell.
