Electric motorcycle manufacturers in Pakistan get ICCI push
Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Mohammad Zikria Akbar Zia urged joint ventures with China’s Wuxi Shengbao to localise two-wheeler production and transfer technology.
ICCI President Mohammad Zikria Akbar Zia welcomed a Wuxi Shengbao Vehicle Manufacturing Company Limited delegation in Islamabad on Thursday.
He called for joint ventures to promote electric motorcycle manufacturing, localise two-wheeler production and transfer modern technology.
The Chinese side, including Mr Yang Zong, showcased the OPAI brand and expressed interest in joint ventures and localising production in Pakistan.
ICCI offered to link the company with Pakistani manufacturers, investors and government departments, and to host its products at an upcoming expo and display centre.
