FCCP says Larkana inspector cannot face action without proof
In its FCCP ruling on misconduct, the court found that a High Court did not give enough weight to a later inquiry that did not tie Inspector Munir Ahmed Samo to an alleged raid.
Departmental action needs credible proof, a fair inquiry and adherence to the legal process, the FCCP said.
The later inquiry report did not establish that Inspector Munir Ahmed Samo took part in the alleged raid.
The High Court had barred the officers involved from field postings for at least a year, pending the report.
The judgment is dated October 22 and was issued from Islamabad; the appeal challenged a Larkana bench order of June 30, 2026.
