Rawalpindi overnight gas cut set for underpass pipeline link
SNGPL will cut household gas from 8:30pm tonight to 6am on 18 October in parts of Rawalpindi city and cantonment for Peshawar Road underpass pipeline work.
Gas will be off from 8:30pm until 6am on 18 October in several Rawalpindi city and cantonment localities.
SNGPL said the cut is needed to connect a section of the main pipeline for Peshawar Road underpass construction.
Affected stretches include Murree Road from Saddar to Faizabad and Peshawar Road from Golra Mor to Saddar.
Adiala Road, GT Road, Qasim Market, Westridge and nearby Peshawar Road neighbourhoods are also listed.
Consumers were advised to arrange alternatives; supply is expected back at 6am on 18 October.
