Google AI coding tool Jules to shut down by Dec 31
Users must finish active Jules sessions by 11 November 2026 before the service turns read-only, ahead of a full shutdown on 31 December as Google pivots to Antigravity.
Google will shut down Jules, its AI coding assistant, on 31 December 2026.
After 11 November 2026, Jules becomes read-only; active coding through the platform stops.
Google is consolidating AI coding work under Antigravity and called Jules an experiment.
Users can export settings, repos, tasks, logs and sessions; GitHub-stored code stays on GitHub.
Google has not said how many people used Jules or whether every feature will move to Antigravity.
