Granola adds free unlimited dictation across Mac apps

Mac users can hold the Fn key, speak, and insert cleaned-up text in emails, chats and other apps; the company says iOS and Windows versions will follow soon.

Granola has launched a free, unlimited dictation feature on Mac that works in any app.

Users hold the Fn key, speak, and the tool cleans and formats the text before inserting it.

The company said versions for iOS and Windows are coming soon.

Granola is valued at $1.5 billion and Wispr at $2 billion, per the company figures cited.
