Green Line extension funds released ahead of FY27 finish

The stretch runs about 1.8 kilometres from Numaish Chowrangi to Municipal Park near Jama Cloth Market.
The federal government has already released its allocated share of funds, the governor said.
Stations are under construction; he urged faster work so residents can benefit sooner.
He visited the site on Saturday and called the BRT Green Line a major public transport project for Karachi.
