ICC fines Haris Rauf 20% for spirit of game breach

The Pakistan fast bowler was reprimanded for a Level 1 Code of Conduct breach in Sunday’s Lahore tri-series ODI; England were separately fined for a slow over rate.

Haris Rauf was fined 20% of his match fee and given an official reprimand for a Level 1 ICC Code of Conduct breach in Lahore.

The ICC linked the case to Article 2.2 (conduct contrary to the spirit of the game) after an exchange with Will Jacks late in Pakistan’s innings.

One demerit point was added, taking Rauf’s total to five after a third offence within 24 months.

England were fined 15% of their match fee for a slow over rate, three overs short after time allowances.
