Pakistan students eligible for Honjo Japan aid till Oct 31
Pakistani and other international applicants have until 31 October 2026 to seek monthly support of ¥180,000–¥230,000 for master’s or PhD study in Japan; tuition is not included.
Applications for the 2027 Honjo International Scholarship cycle close on 31 October 2026 after opening on 1 September 2026.
Monthly stipends range from ¥180,000 to ¥230,000 by programme length; the award does not cover tuition.
About 10 students are expected to receive support; Pakistan is among eligible countries.
Applicants need a minimum GPA of 3.0 and IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 90, plus essays and recommendation letters.
Applications go directly to the Honjo International Scholarship Foundation; students outside Japan need graduate-school acceptance first.
