Hubco Q1 profit of Rs12.8bn; company declares Rs5 DPS
Hubco Q1 profit rose 10% year on year as Hub Power Company Limited booked Rs12.8 billion, lifted revenue 27%, and declared a Rs5-per-share dividend for 1QFY27.
HUBC reported a net profit of Rs12.8 billion in 1QFY27, up 10% from a year earlier.
Earnings per share were Rs9.86; the company declared a dividend of Rs5 per share.
Consolidated revenue rose 27% year on year to Rs22.1 billion on higher plant use.
Share of profit from associates was Rs12.7 billion; finance costs fell 13% year on year.
Effective tax rate was 24.7%, above both the year-ago and previous-quarter rates.
