HugoHub starts Pakistan bank deployment with HugoBank
The HugoHub Pakistan launch puts Singapore’s banking platform behind HugoBank’s first pilot customer account under a State Bank restricted licence, with a wider rollout bid eyed for early 2027.
HugoHub’s first live bank deployment in Pakistan began when HugoBank opened a pilot customer account on 25 September 2026.
HugoBank is operating under a Restricted License from the State Bank of Pakistan as part of the country’s first digital-bank cohort.
The platform links core banking, payments, cards and savings to HugoBank’s app, with NADRA, 1LINK and Raast integrations.
HugoBank plans to refine the pilot, submit findings to the SBP and seek commercial approval in early 2027.
Pilot products include current and savings accounts, gamified money pots and debit cards; lending and SME products are planned after approval.
