Up to eight hours without power in parts of five IESCO cities
The distribution company's timetable lists most feeders off from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, with the New GHQ feeder in Rawalpindi Cantt the longest at eight hours.
IESCO has announced planned power cuts on Saturday, November 7, in parts of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum and Chakwal.
Most 11kV feeders are scheduled to be off from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, and some areas face up to eight hours without power.
The longest single outage is the New GHQ feeder in Rawalpindi Cantt, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The company cites yearly maintenance, construction and grid transformer upkeep as the reasons.
The same programme cut power across the region on November 3 and November 4; IESCO has apologised and asked for cooperation.
