Dialogue panel asks IHC to allow Imran Khan jail visit
A national dialogue committee plea seeking an Imran Khan jail meeting is listed for 5 November at the Islamabad High Court, with registrar objections on the file.
The Islamabad High Court has fixed a 5 November hearing on a petition seeking a jail visit with the PTI founder.
Petitioners from a national dialogue committee include Fawad Chaudhry, Imran Ismail, Mahmood Moulvi and Barrister Saif.
Respondents named are the interior secretary, Punjab’s home secretary and the Adiala Jail superintendent.
The plea says visits have been blocked for several months and seeks a meeting under Pakistan Prison Rules.
