Murad Ali Shah proposes a one-district Karachi flood warning pilot

During a Wuhan visit, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah proposed a Karachi flood warning pilot with Huawei, starting in one district.

Syed Murad Ali Shah proposed a Huawei partnership for flood early warning and city operations in Karachi.

The pilot would start in one district and could later expand across a city of more than 20 million people.

He wants technology transfer, training and local expertise, not only equipment and software.

Sindh plans to sign a memorandum of understanding with Huawei in Shanghai later this week.

He also invited Humanwell Healthcare Group to look at pharmaceutical manufacturing in Sindh.
