Four fire tenders fight Gulistan-e-Jauhar furniture blaze

A fire broke out at a furniture market near Kamran Chowrangi in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Karachi.
Rescue said flames also reached an adjacent residential building, which was brought under control.
Four fire tenders were engaged; firefighting at the market continued while teams worked to fully contain the blaze.
K-Electric shut electricity to the Gulistan-e-Jauhar block as a precaution.
SSP East said Gulistan-e-Jauhar and Shahrah-e-Faisal police secured the area; cause and financial loss were not yet known.
