Wahab announces Nov 20 groundbreaking for Nishtar flyover

Mayor Murtaza Wahab said KMC will fund the Nishtar Road project itself, with groundbreaking on 20 November and a 100-day construction target.

KMC will build a flyover on Nishtar Road at an estimated cost of Rs1 billion.

Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab announced the plan at the KMC Head Office.

Groundbreaking is scheduled for 20 November, with a 100-day completion target.

The project will be paid for from KMC’s own financial resources.

It sits within a wider city programme that also includes the Chakora Nullah Expressway and major road rehabilitation.
