The Sindh government has decided to reopen a U-turn on Karachi’s University Road while Red Line BRT work continues.
The move is meant to ease travel for commuters during ongoing construction.
Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon chaired the meeting that reviewed the decision and new bus route arrangements.
Officials were told to finalise routes for recently arrived double-decker and electric buses, with another batch hoped later this month.
Memon also ordered early completion of the remaining work on the second section of the Taj Haider Bridge, with daily site monitoring.
