Khanna Police Station Islamabad razed on Expressway greenbelt
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi oversaw the Khanna Police Station Islamabad demolition on the Expressway greenbelt, with a temporary move and a new legal site set aside.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi supervised the demolition of Khanna Police Station on the Islamabad Expressway greenbelt on Friday.
Islamabad’s Chief Commissioner, Inspector General of Police, Deputy Commissioner and other officials took part in the operation.
The station has been shifted temporarily; a new legal site has been allocated for a fresh building.
Naqvi said no government department, private body or individual may occupy public land, and Interior Ministry land is also being reclaimed.
He cited an earlier FC camp office demolition near the Marriott Hotel and said the drive will continue without discrimination.
