200kg spoiled fish from Sukkur destroyed after Swabi check

KPFSHFA seized and destroyed 200kg of spoiled fish during a Monday operation in Swabi.
The fish was being brought into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from Sukkur and was found unfit for human consumption.
Officials cited cold-chain failures and breaches of prescribed food-safety SOPs.
Legal proceedings have been started against those held responsible.
The authority urged traders and transporters to keep perishable goods properly chilled and asked citizens to use its complaint helpline.
