Islamabad has ordered coordinated action against an LPG shortage in Pakistan tied to alleged hoarding, with OGRA told to enforce the Rs3,296 notified cylinder price in remote areas.

OGRA was asked to ensure regular supply and enforce notified prices, especially in hilly, remote and off-grid areas.

Officials also want locally produced LPG sold through a transparent competitive process under the LPG Policy 2016, a plan slowed by litigation.
