Mastercard Pakistan digital payments get a boost as BankIslami expands Shariah-compliant debit, credit and business cards, plus a unified loyalty platform.
BankIslami and Mastercard have agreed to expand consumer and commercial card offerings in Pakistan.
The plan includes Mastercard World and World Elite cards, plus Shariah-compliant credit cards for mass-market and affluent clients.
MSMEs and corporates will get Shariah-compliant debit cards and Business Payment Controls for payment and supply-chain management.
Mastercard will back BankIslami’s unified loyalty platform so rewards work more consistently across cards.
