CDA Building Control Directorate notice flags Fazlur Rehman home
The Capital Development Authority ordered clearance of alleged setback builds, a guard post and a generator on CDA land at the JUI-F chief’s Islamabad home within 15 days.
CDA’s Building Control Directorate issued a notice dated 30 October 2026 for Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s Islamabad residence at Plot No. 07, Street No. 83, Sector G-6/4.
Alleged violations include construction in mandatory setbacks, an unauthorised guard post, and a generator on CDA-owned land.
The owner and occupant have 15 days to remove the identified irregularities or face sealing, demolition, legal action, or allotment-cancellation proceedings.
An affidavit from 18 March 2019 had pledged setback clearance within three months; CDA says the issues remain unresolved.
JUI-F called the move reactionary; Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s son questioned the notice online, while building-control officials said the action followed a routine survey.
