Mir Hussain asks Sindh to swap NCCIA member on Mir Raza JIT
In a video appeal, Mir Hussain thanked Sindh for forming a joint probe but said the cybercrime nominee had already spent two months on the file and pushed a suicide line.
Mir Hussain asked that the NCCIA seat on the Mir Raza murder JIT be filled by someone else.
He named Arslan Manzoor as the nominee he learned of through media coverage and called him able but unsuitable for a fresh probe.
He said that officer had already handled the matter for about two months and favoured a suicide account.
Sindh on Saturday suspended medico-legal officer Dr Osama Sheikh after a judicial commission criticised his post-mortem work.
The Home Department also ordered an inquiry into Special Secretary of Health Shehryar Gul Memon and wrote to the chief secretary on commission follow-through.
