Multan rape case: family held at gunpoint near Wan Chhatta

The Multan rape case centres on a family stopped at gunpoint near Wan Chhatta at about 11pm, and on samples now with a forensic lab in Lahore.

Police in Multan have registered a case against three men who have not been identified.

The complaint was lodged by the woman's husband after the family was stopped near Wan Chhatta at around 11pm.

A Multan City Police officer, Akhtar Farooq, confirmed the incident happened the previous night.

The woman underwent a medical examination, and samples were sent to a forensic lab in Lahore.

No arrests or further official statements have been reported so far.
