An Islamabad anti-corruption judge refused pre-arrest protection for Ziaullah Khan Toru; the FIA case cites forged MBA papers, mining firms and assets beyond known income.

Ziaullah Khan Toru, a NAB Additional Director, was taken into custody after Special Judge Humayun Dilawar refused pre-arrest bail in Islamabad.

FIA Anti-Corruption Circle Islamabad filed FIR 50/2026 citing alleged forged MBA degrees, misuse of office and unlawful financial benefits.

The FIR links Toru to Universal Mining (2012), Pakhtunkhwa Mines in his wife’s name (2015) and alleged hidden stakes in other firms.

Assistant Director Shahid Ilyas Khan opened the probe; claims he was later taken off the inquiry remain unverified.

Charges listed include several PPC sections plus Section 5(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act; the inquiry continues.
