CNSC chief at PMA: no space for war in nuclearised region

At the PMA Kakul parade, National Strategic Command Pakistan chief Lt Gen Syed Aamer Raza said Islamabad would not tolerate aggression and that restraint must not be read as weakness.

Lt Gen Syed Aamer Raza, Commander National Strategic Command, warned at PMA Kakul that any regional miscalculation would meet a response beyond an adversary’s imagination.

He said there is no room for war in a nuclearised environment and that Pakistan would not tolerate cross-border aggression or violations of its sovereignty.

The remarks came a day after the Foreign Office rejected Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s comments and said Pakistan would respond fully to any aggression.

He also spoke on Kashmir, support for Palestinians, and a multi-domain military transformation driven by new technologies.

The parade covered the 154th Long Course and other PMA courses, with cadets from eight foreign countries among the graduates.
