OGDCL starts Bitrism East-1 gas output in Khairpur, Sindh

OGDCL Khairpur oil gas production has started at Bitrism East-1, which is producing 7.0 MMSCFD of gas and 200 barrels per day of condensate.

OGDCL has started gas and condensate production from the Bitrism East-1 exploration well in Khairpur, Sindh.

The well was producing 7.0 MMSCFD of gas and 200 barrels per day of condensate when the company disclosed it.

Processed gas from the Sinjhoro plant is being supplied to the SSGCL network.

OGDCL operates the Bitrism licence with a 77.5% working interest; Government Holdings (Pvt) Ltd holds 22.5%.

Output is expected to rise gradually as the well flow stabilises.
