A Lahore sessions court has summoned Okara University VC Dr Sajjad Mubin for indictment on Nov 10 in a private complaint by a woman teacher alleging harassment, defamation and misuse of authority.

The complaint also names public relations officer Sharjeel Ahmad and cites Pakistan Penal Code sections on defamation and related offences.
Charges could not be framed against the VC on Wednesday because he was absent; the PRO was present.
Both defendants have been summoned again for indictment on Nov 10.
The complainant alleges harassment, withheld pay and tenure-track benefits, blocked promotion, and damage to her reputation online.
