OpenAI doubles ChatGPT Pro limits without raising prices

OpenAI doubled Work and Codex allowances on ChatGPT Pro 100, 200 and 500 from 29 October 2026, with no price increase.

Pro 200 users on lower allowances were raised to match higher ones; those already on higher limits kept them.

A planned cut that would have halved some Pro 200 Work and Codex capacity after 29 October was cancelled.

ChatGPT Plus limits stayed the same; Pro 500 still includes Ultrafast processing at eight times the standard usage rate.

Business Premium Work and Codex usage also rose, though OpenAI did not state the exact size of that increase.
