Pakistan Embassy in UAE Starts E-Passports, Fees from AED 145
The Pakistan e-passport fee in UAE runs from AED 145 to AED 2,540, depending on page count, validity and urgency, with lost-passport replacements costing the most.
The Embassy of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi and the Consulate General in Dubai have started issuing e-passports from October 23, 2026.
A 36-page, five-year e-passport costs AED 145 on normal processing, about Rs11,020 at AED 1 to Rs76.
Fees rise with more pages, a 10-year validity and urgent processing; the highest is AED 2,540.
Lost-passport replacements cost more, and the charge rises again after a second loss.
Existing machine-readable passports stay valid until expiry; renew only with less than six months left.
