Pakistan juniors seal 5-2 win over Guangdong in Gojra

Pakistan’s junior hockey team beat China’s Guangdong 5-2 at the International Hockey Stadium in Gojra on Wednesday.

The juniors led 3-2 at half-time and scored twice more after the break.

The fixture is part of a six-match friendly Test series meant to promote Pakistan-China sporting ties.

Local and PHF officials watched, including Toba Tek Singh’s deputy commissioner and police chief.

Guangdong also played Pakistani departmental sides, with mixed results including a shootout win over Pakistan Army.
