Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb held talks in Bangkok with Alibaba International Digital Commerce (AIDC) on the Pakistan Single Window e-commerce platform.
The discussions also covered tracking of cross-border payments, export earnings, cloud infrastructure, AI and tax administration.
Aurangzeb invited proposals on rationalizing e-commerce taxation while broadening the tax base.
The talks took place on the margins of the World Bank Group and IMF Annual Meetings 2026.
