Maryam Khan and Saud Anwar are listed for Connecticut’s State Senate; Salman Bhojani and Suleman Lalani seek another term in the Texas House.
Farooq Mughal (Georgia), Tariq Khan (Pennsylvania), Hanadi Nadeem (Nevada Assembly) and Imtiaz Mohammad (Florida Republican) are also running.
These races are for state chambers, not seats in the federal US Congress.
