PECTAA Smart Syllabus Class 11: Chapters Removed for 2027 Exams

The new PECTAA Smart Syllabus for Class 11 2027 exams drops some chapters, reduces exercise questions and applies to all nine Punjab Boards.

PECTAA notified a revised Smart Syllabus for Class 11 on November 6, 2026, after approval at its 13th Academics Committee meeting on November 5.

The syllabus covers the 2026-27 session and the 2027 annual board examinations under the Accelerated Learning Program (ALP).

Mathematics Unit 8, on Mathematical Induction and Binomial Theorem, has been excluded, and Chemistry students no longer need two chapters.

The revised syllabus applies to all nine Punjab Boards, and PECTAA has directed its IT department to upload it to the official website.

Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat said the smart syllabus for Classes 9 to 12 would be released on November 7, 2026.
