PM Shehbaz Russia Meeting Discusses Trade and Security Ties
The PM Shehbaz Russia meeting on Wednesday focused on trade and energy, and Pakistan and Russia agreed to finalise an extradition treaty.
Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev met PM Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday and highlighted potential to expand trade and economic ties, the Prime Minister's Office said.
The PMO said both sides stressed cooperation in trade and investment, energy and economic development.
Kolokoltsev met Field Marshal Asim Munir at GHQ Rawalpindi, where the military's media wing said both sides stressed closer security coordination.
Pakistan and Russia agreed to finalise an extradition treaty and pledged an MoU on preventing organised crime.
