PM&DC clears 99pc of medical registration applications

The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council says it has issued 302,587 of 304,819 applications received through October 2026 via its digital system.

PM&DC has issued 302,587 of 304,819 registration applications received up to October 2026, nearly 99 per cent.

Category totals include full licences, renewals, provisional licences, Good Standing Certificates and faculty registrations.

President Prof Dr Rizwan Taj linked the figures to workflow reforms, monitoring and the online portal.

The council says remote online procedures are meant to cut travel time and cost for doctors, including those in remote areas.
