Lahore govt hospitals get PSCA QR panic button system

The Punjab Safe Cities Authority has begun fitting PSCA panic button QR codes in government hospitals so patients can reach Helpline 15, live chat or video help in a crisis.

The Punjab Safe Cities Authority has started installing emergency QR panic buttons in government hospitals across Punjab, including Lahore.

Scanning the code connects citizens to PSCA; hospital details appear on the phone and help can be sought via Helpline 15, live chat or video call.

The system is linked to the Safe City Virtual Blood Bank to help match patients with donors of the needed blood group.

Citizens can also dial Helpline 15 and press option 4 for blood-related guidance and basic first-aid advice.

Installation will proceed in phases and can be used for emergencies beyond blood needs.
