PTA lists Bigo Live and Likee under Bigo Service Pakistan
Bigo Live Pakistan registration places the live-streaming app and Likee with Bigo Service Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd. under the PTA's 2021 online content rules.
The PTA has formally enrolled the live-streaming app Bigo Live and the short-video app Likee in Pakistan.
Both products are listed through Bigo Service Pakistan (Pvt.) Ltd., the domestic firm behind them.
The PTA tied the step to the Removal and Blocking of Unlawful Online Content (Procedure, Oversight and Safeguards) Rules, 2021.
Bigo Service Pakistan already held certificates for Bigo Live, Likee and Snack Video in January 2022.
Users gain an official PTA path to complain and seek removal of posts that break local law.
