PTV MD urges deeper CMG links on 75-year friendship

Federal Secretary Ashfaq Ahmad Khalil said PTV and CMG cooperation should include joint documentaries as Pakistan-China friendship marks 75 years.

PTV Managing Director Ashfaq Ahmad Khalil urged deeper media ties with China Media Group (CMG) as Pakistan-China friendship marks 75 years.

He called for joint documentaries and practical work under existing Memoranda of Understanding between the two sides.

He said media had helped explain the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and that closer PTV-CMG coordination could improve mutual understanding.

He also pointed to Minister Attaullah Tarar's proposal to invite Chinese social media influencers to Pakistan for cultural exchange.
