Federal Minister Attaullah Tarar ordered a comprehensive strategy to revive the PTV Drama and Film Academy as a modern training institution.
The Monday meeting in Islamabad also reviewed plans to revamp PTV Home through specialised training and modern technical facilities.
Pakistan is to introduce advanced colour-grading training locally for the first time, Tarar said.
Officials reviewed private-sector training models, classrooms, studio labs, workstations, curriculum and a pilot project.
Young people’s projects may appear on PTV News, PTV Home and other PTV platforms, with financial sustainability of the academy also discussed.
