Senate passes two bills; OGRA Amendment Bill introduced
The Senate passes two bills on study centres and the federal board after a majority vote in Islamabad, and also sees the OGRA Amendment Bill introduced.
On Friday in Islamabad, the Senate passed two bills by majority after clause-by-clause consideration.
The Pakistan Study Centres (Amendment) Bill, 2026, was among the measures cleared.
The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (Amendment) Bill, 2026, was also passed.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2026, was introduced to further amend the OGRA Ordinance, 2002.
