Sindh China meeting advances Safe City and Sukkur plans

Talks centred on finalising government-to-government agreements signed with Chinese firms during the CM’s China visit.
Negotiations with Huawei for Phase II of the Karachi Safe City Project are being finalised, the CM said.
Plans include Chinese farming technology for sunflower and wheat, and installing 100 Sukkur Barrage gates.
Both sides agreed to form sectoral working groups; a Sukkur–Yichang sister-city link was also discussed.
