More than 50 passports carrying foreign visas were stolen from a private courier delivery bag in Rawalpindi.
The consignment had been sent from Karachi to a travel agent and also held documents, phones, parcels and other valuables.
Visas included Saudi Arabia and other destinations; affected people had spent millions of rupees collectively on visas and jobs abroad.
Police registered a case at Banni Police Station on a courier company representative’s complaint and began an investigation.
Some affected citizens say they have not received adequate help from the courier firm or the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
