Two more Palestinians die of wounds in Gaza, including a student
A medical student wounded in an Israeli airstrike on a university campus in late October was among two Palestinians who died on Friday, medical sources said.
Two Palestinians, including a medical student, died on Friday from wounds sustained in earlier Israeli attacks.
Sara Abu Jiyab, a medical student at the Islamic University of Gaza, had been wounded in an Israeli airstrike on the campus in late October.
Witnesses said Israeli army fire toward the Al-Mawasi area, northwest of Rafah, reached tents sheltering displaced Palestinians.
Gaza's Health Ministry says violations of the ceasefire in effect since October 10, 2025 have killed 1,602 Palestinians and wounded 5,799 others.
