UK Minister of Religion visa eases religious-order duties

UK Visas and Immigration has rewritten sponsorship, money-support and stay rules for the T2 clergy route, ending the former overall six-year ceiling while keeping each grant to three years or the job term.

The UK Minister of Religion visa no longer has an overall six-year stay ceiling.

Applicants need 70 points, including a Certificate of Sponsorship and B2 English unless exempt.

Dependants may join; extra work is limited; settlement remains possible after five years.
