UN Gaza report says genocide continued after 2025 truce
A UN Gaza report on the 2025 truce says Israeli forces kept using heavy weapons in crowded areas, while West Bank airstrike deaths and displacement climbed.
A UN inquiry published on Monday says genocidal conduct in Gaza did not stop after the US-brokered pause of last October.
Investigators say heavy munitions, drones, quadcopters, artillery and sniper fire were still used in crowded areas during the ceasefire.
The Yellow Line marker has pushed deeper into Gaza and now acts more like a lasting frontier, the commission said.
Palestinian authorities put Gaza deaths above 74,000; about 1,200 people were killed in southern Israel on 7 October 2023.
West Bank airstrike deaths rose to 254 from Oct 2023 to Sept 2026; 34,176 people were still displaced as of August 2026.
