Hajj 2027 second installment: Oct 20 deadline for pilgrims

Islamabad — Pilgrims selected under Pakistan’s government Hajj scheme have until 20 October to clear the Hajj 2027 second installment, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has reminded applicants, with only a short window left before the deadline.

A ministry spokesperson said those travelling under the official scheme must complete the payment on time. Missing the date, the spokesperson warned, can result in cancellation of the application, so households that have already committed to the pilgrimage should treat the cut-off as firm.

How to pay before the deadline

Payment is to be made through the Hajj portal run by the National Information Technology Board (NITB) — the government IT body that hosts the official online system — or through the Pak Hajj app. The spokesperson said applicants can pay on the portal with a bank card, through One-Link, or by submitting a manual bank challan.

Using the official channels matters because the Hajj 2027 second installment is tied to keeping a place on the government list. Families who are unsure which option their bank supports should choose the method they can complete same day, rather than waiting for a later confirmation that may arrive after 20 October.

Medical fitness certificate also required

Alongside the fee, applicants must download a medical fitness certificate from the Hajj portal, have it attested by a doctor, and upload the signed document back to the same portal. The ministry said this step is mandatory.

Prospective pilgrims were also told to keep the Pak Hajj app open for the latest instructions. That is the practical place to check for any further steps after the Hajj 2027 second installment is paid and the medical file is uploaded.

What applicants should do next

Anyone who has not yet paid should log in to the NITB Hajj portal or open the Pak Hajj app, clear the installment, and finish the medical upload without delay. Those who have already paid should still confirm that the attested certificate is on the portal, so the file is complete before the ministry’s deadline passes.
