The Tehreek-i-Tahafuz Ayin-i-Pakistan (TTAP) on Thursday suspended all negotiations with the government. The alliance said there would be no talks until a meeting with PTI founder Imran Khan is arranged and information about his health is provided. It said all negotiating authority rests with chairman Mehmood Khan Achakzai. The statement came from a leadership meeting at his residence. The sources contain no new medical details and no date for a meeting.

The KP emergency

The meeting reviewed governor’s rule and the emergency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The alliance called the move a “robbery” and a midnight assault on the Constitution and the people’s mandate, demanded that it be withdrawn, and said it would petition the Peshawar High Court.

Other demands

TTAP also demanded the release of Imran Khan’s sisters, held for nearly three weeks under the Maintenance of Public Order Ordinance, and access to his doctors. It demanded the release of Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, Assembly Speaker Babar Saleem Swati, PTI provincial president Junaid Akbar, and other detained lawmakers. Dawn reported their detention on 11 October, after the Centre imposed the emergency.

Aasan alfaaz mein

TTAP ne hukoomat se baat cheet tab tak rok di hai jab tak Imran Khan se mulaqat aur unki sehat ki maloomat na di jaye. Muzakrat ka ikhtiyar sirf Mehmood Khan Achakzai ke paas hai. Alliance KP ki emergency ko robbery qarar de kar wapas lene ka mutalba kar rahi hai, aur Peshawar High Court mein petition ka iraada rakhti hai.
