The petrol price in Pakistan today is Rs398.30 a litre. High-speed diesel is Rs396.24 a litre. Those are the totals on the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority sheet dated 10 October 2026, notification download 17099.
What changed
Petrol was Rs398.96 before that notification, so the pump price fell by 66 paisa. Diesel was Rs395.72, so it rose by 52 paisa. ARY News reported the same figures and said the revised prices remain in effect until 12 October.
What an earlier version got wrong
An earlier version of this article said the government had raised petrol by Rs5.58 a litre and diesel by Rs4.18, and set those amounts beside other headlines that did not match. Those increases are not on the 10 October OGRA sheet. The copy was drawn from Google News headlines, not from the notification.
No newer OGRA price sheet than 10 October was found at 2pm on 12 October. The rate on the pump is the notified ceiling, before any station freight.
