Neelam Munir has confirmed the birth of her first child, a son named Muhammad Hamdan. In a report datelined Karachi on 11 October 2026, ARY News Urdu said the actress and model posted the news on Instagram, with a photograph of herself seated on a hospital bed and the baby in her arms.
Accounts in the days before had already described the couple as first-time parents. ARY News Urdu notes that she had not, until the Instagram post, said publicly whether those accounts were right.
The Instagram caption
The caption, which ARY News Urdu reproduced in Urdu, is short and personal. She wrote of the moment she became "someone's entire world," added "Alhamdulillah" — a brief phrase of praise to God — and called the child "my little prince Muhammad Hamdan." She said a prayer had been answered and described him as her greatest blessing.
The only image the report describes is that hospital-bed photograph. It gives no hospital name, no city of birth and no date of birth. Those details remain outside what the published account establishes.
Earlier reports, then her own words
Before the post, word had spread that Neelam Munir and her husband, Muhammad Rashid, had welcomed a first child. The gap ARY News Urdu highlights is narrow and specific: during that period she had neither confirmed the news nor rejected it. The photograph and caption are the confirmation the report treats as official.
The lines it quotes include no time of birth, no word on how mother and child are recovering, and no message from relatives. As carried by ARY News Urdu, the public record is her name for the child and the picture of the two of them in hospital.
Marriage in Dubai, and a quieter spell
The same story places the birth after a change in her working life. She married Muhammad Rashid in Dubai in November 2024. Since the wedding she has stepped back somewhat from show business — film, television and modelling — and has moved to Dubai.
ARY News Urdu, writing about Neelam Munir, links that change of pace to the wedding and the move. It does not name a project she has left, or one she is about to start. The confirmation of the birth stands on its own: an Instagram photograph and a caption, published by the actress and reported from Karachi on 11 October 2026.
The earlier reports, as that account describes them, had left the news unconfirmed. Her post settles two points: that a first child has been born, and that he is called Muhammad Hamdan. A date of birth, and any word on future screen work, are not part of the report.
